Twice a year, on the Victoria Day weekend and the Thanksgiving weekend, the Associates gather from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon for two days of fellowship, fun, work and worship. Room and board is provided on these weekends. In addition, Associates are asked to pray for the ministry of Canterbury Hills and promote our various programs and activities.

Associate Membership Annual Fees (renewed each fall): Individual $15.00 Family $25.00

If you are interested in more information about the Associate Program or would like to become a Canterbury Hills Associate, please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Heather McInnes, at the Canterbury Hills office (905-648-27120).

Canterbury Hills Parish Ambassadors

Canterbury Hills Parish Ambassadors are individuals whose role is to represent and promote Canterbury Hills, its mission, facilities, programs and fundraising initiatives to the parish and its surrounding community, and to communicate concerns and suggestions from the parishes of the Diocese to Canterbury Hills.

Parish Ambassadors are selected in/by the parish and are asked to commit to a serve a three-year term. There is an initial orientation session held each year for new Ambassadors and updates about news and events at Canterbury Hills will be sent to each Ambassador. Our hope is that Parish Ambassadors will maintain a Canterbury Hills bulletin board in their parish and ensure that Canterbury Hills programs and events are featured in parish bulletins, newsletters and announcements.

Parish Ambassadors receive a free Canterbury Hills Associate membership.

If your parish does not presently have a Canterbury Hills Ambassador, and you think you might be interested in finding out more about this exciting volunteer opportunity, please speak to your Rector and/or contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Heather McInnes, at the Canterbury Hills office (905-648-2712).
